There has been some confusion around posting online and whether posting on resale sites is allowed. To help clarify, here is the language from the different Digital Cookie Pledges:
Girl pledge: I will not post on any online resale sites (such as, for example, Craigslist, Ebay, or Facebook Marketplace).
Parent pledge: I will make sure that my Girl Scout does not post on any online resale sites (such as, for example, Craigslist, Ebay or Facebook Marketplace). I will not regularly post to social media websites about my Girl Scout’s participation in the Digital Cookie program.
Volunteer pledge: Remind Girl Scouts not to post on any online resale sites (such as Craigslist, Ebay or Facebook Marketplace).
As we try to stay up-to-date on all guidelines and send the updates through our Cookie Chats, which is where many saw the new language. We ask that while we navigate our way through the cookie program, especially during a pandemic, that everyone come together and have grace, patience, and assume good intent.
