Troop 4325 is on their second year with 1st Grade Daisies and 2nd Grade Brownies from Silver Gate, Cabrillo, High Tech, and Sunset View Elementary Schools. Last year they partnered with the Ocean Beach Town Council and hosted a Toy Drive competition. They collected over 100+ toys to help benefit local families for the holidays. This year they plan to see if they can double the toys with a Peninsula Toy Drive on November 21!
The girls last meeting in person was on the Girl Scout birthday (March 12)! They were all invested into Girl Scouts and then celebrated with cake! Since quarantine began, they have had frequent virtual meetings. They finished earning all their petals, learned about social justice, had a show-n-tell stuffed animal check in, and many giggles and smiles. They continue to meet at least twice a month and their motto is “Our Troop is always open.”
