We are thrilled to host our third community service project, our Peninsula Girl Scouts Book Drive. This is the third of four community service projects for 2020–2021. Troops or individual girls can drop off new books on Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 9:00 am until 11:00 AM at the corner of Narragansett and Chatsworth.
Books we collect will be donated to Polinsky Children’s Center and Father Joe’s Villages. We can accept new or gently used books of all genres for both children and adults.
If you didn’t get a chance to participate in the Food Drive or the Toy Drive last year, you can also bring non-perishable food and/or children’s pajamas (in lieu of toys) to the Book Drive to receive the previous rocker patches. For more information, see our Book Drive calendar event page.
